Basic Jams & Preserves

Learn the basics of home preserving and jam making in this four hour class Students will make one type of jam and one type of preserve using in-season fruits.

Cake Decorating (5 weeks)

In this course you will learn to decorate beautiful cakes for those special occasions ie weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, christenings etc. You will learn a new skill make friends and have fun in an informal friendly atmosphere.

Cost: $180 full, $170 conc.

Dates: 10am – 2pm Mondays.

Proposed start date: 21 May.


Introduction to Cooking and Kitchen Skills (5 weeks)

This course will involve the menu planning and costing of nutritious meals; preparing, cooking, and serving one meal per week. The course will teach  understanding of basic food preparation, simple cooking skills, kitchen cleaning, hygiene, food storage, and presentation of food.

Cost: ACFE Learn Local $100                

          Non ACFE $170 full, $160 conc.

Prices include ingredients.

Dates: Mondays 10am – 2pm

Proposed start date: 16 April.
