Christine’s artistic inspiration started at a young age and grew up with a love of drawing and studying art. The Australian Impressionists and Old Masters held strong appeal and a preference for realism was established.

Christine went on to complete graduate and post graduate studies in nursing, combining work and raising a family with study. A desire to learn watercolour painting prompted her to take classes and join the Ballarat Society of Artists where she was a member for twenty years. With a view to combining her love of art with meeting the needs of people, she completed a Certificate in Creative Arts Practice (Art Therapy) in 2012.

Through self- directed study and attending regular workshops in painting from established artists, Christine was able to meet requests for portraits, landscapes, marine and imaginative works. Her preferred mediums are watercolour, oils and acrylics.

Christine has exhibited with the Ballarat Society of Artists at Art Shows, the Ballarat Art Gallery, and had solo exhibitions at the Gatehouse and Trades Hall in Ballarat.
