Michael is a very passionate vintage car collector, having owned many cars over his driving lifetime.

By having owned such cars, which were of course always prone to breaking down in the least convenient situations, he became adept at fixing most mechanical issues on the side of the road with minimal tools and spares. He now shares his passion of all things mechanical by way of tutoring basic and advanced car maintenance courses at Warragul Community House. He also offers others the experience of travelling in fine examples of classic cars by offering them for hire at weddings.

Michael’s other passion is in typewriters, having spent the early part of his working life as a typewriter technician then moving into mainframe computers, needless to say he has “just a few” examples of typewriters and computer hardware in his collection – he definitely needs a bigger shed!
